MEDIA RELEASE 3 July 2020
The Bathurst Winter Festival is on during the school holidays 4 – 19 July under the theme “Experience it Differently” with a combination of both online and physical experiences.
Mayor Bobby Bourke said while the event has a different format this year, it will still support local businesses and the entertainment industry as well as ensure the community feels connected in a safe way.
“Our favourite illuminations will return to the city centre every night from sundown and we’re extending the lights to residential brights with residents lighting up their own home and gardens,” he said.
“Another highlight will be the drive-in cinema brough to you by McDonald’s Bathurst, which will feature a range of movies including kids, family, comedies, thriller and retro.”
