The 2020 edition of Gannawarra Shire Council’s Mayoral Listening Post program will resume this week, with sessions planned for Koondrook and Lake Charm.
Initially scheduled to occur during late March and April, the program was postponed following the implementation of Coronavirus-related social distancing measures.
“Sessions were held prior to the implementation of these measures at Lalbert, Murrabit and Quambatook, with residents in these three towns taking the opportunity to raise matters with their local Councillor,” Mayor Lorraine Learmonth said.
“My fellow Councillors and I look forward to meeting with residents as this program resumes to hear your concerns and enact on requests.”
Mayoral Listening Post sessions will be held at the following locations:
Outside the Koondrook Post Office on Thursday, 9 July from 9.30am to 10.30am; and At the Lake Charm Hall on Monday, 13 July from 11am to 12 noon.“Deputy Mayor, Cr Charlie Gillingham will be in attendance at the Lake Charm session, with Cr Steve Tasker to take part in the Koondrook meeting,” Mayor Learmonth said.
“Sessions are also planned for Cohuna, Kerang and Leitchville, with details to be advised once confirmed.”
