Funding sought to mitigate risks MEDIA RELEASE

Council will apply for $235,000 in funding from the Queensland Resilience and Risk Reduction Fund.

The State Government program provides funding for projects that deliver disaster resilience and risk reduction.

Three projects have been identified for funding:

Mt Whitfield catchment drainage improvements.Flood modelling (various catchments).Fit for Purpose Risk Assessment for flood mapping for integration into the planning scheme.
