The City of Wanneroo has made changes to its bulk waste verge collection schedule for 2020 to help reduce fire risks and keep the community safe.
In previous years, bulk waste verge collection in some suburbs including Yanchep and Two Rocks has taken place during peak bushfire season, posing a potential fire hazard.
The new collection schedule for 2020 mitigates these risks by bringing forward collection in these suburbs and rural areas to cooler months.
Residents should ensure they wait until within seven days prior to the collection date before putting out their junk items to keep our streets tidy and safe for the community.
