Bulky Waste Collection

The Second and Final Bulky Waste Collection for the year scheduled for the 27 July 2020

Lithgow Council wishes to advise residents of the second free bulky waste collection scheduled to commence on 27 July 2020.  Anyone who wishes to take advantage of this service should, by midday on Friday the 24 July 2020, contact Council’s Customer Service Office on 6354 9999 or alternatively you may register on Council’s website www.council.lithgow.com (by midday 24th July 2020). Then, on the night before Monday 27 July 2020, leave your bulky waste adjacent to where you would normally place the garbage bin for pickup. 

Bulky items will be collected provided they can be picked up by two people. Any cases, boxes or cartons should be securely tied. No liquid or chemical items will be collected, nor will any items requiring the use of a shovel.

Residents are reminded that a REQUEST FOR SERVICE for the above date is still required.  ALL PERSONS that require material to be collected are required to phone Council on 6354 9999 or complete the form on Council’s website before 12 noon on the Friday 24 July 2020 before the scheduled date. A booking reference number will be provided once registration is successful.

PLEASE NOTE: It is important material is placed at the correct location by Sunday night. Any material not presented by the correct time cannot be collected. This service is only available to those residents who have a weekly garbage collection service.
