Wollondilly Shire Council is opening a special round of community grants in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
The new program will be open from 13 July 2020 offering grants to Wollondilly based not for profit charitable organisations to provide direct support to ratepayers experiencing severe financial hardship as a result of COVID-19.
Wollondilly Mayor, Cr Matthew Deeth has encouraged local community groups to check their eligibility and apply.
“This program will provide targeted support to Wollondilly ratepayers during these difficult times” he said.
Eligible organisations must complete the application form providing an overview of their proposed program, eligibility criteria, monitoring and evaluation strategies.
A maximum pool of $30,000 is available in this funding round.
The COVID-19 community grants program opens on 13 July 2020 and closes on 7 August 2020. Successful applicants will be advised in August 2020.
