First look at five new playgrounds
Bayside City Council 15 Jul 2020

Have your say on proposed new designs for some of Bayside’s best known playgrounds.

In the next phase of Council’s $10.3 million plan to upgrade every playground in Bayside over ten years our new playground plans are ready for feedback.

Now’s your opportunity to let us know whether we got the designs right at:

Banksia Reserve Beach Park Sandringham Gardens Landcox Park Royal Avenue Park Tjilatjirrin Reserve

The new designs have been developed using feedback from our young Playground Testers, other playground users, local residents and members of the community.

Each new play space offers a diverse range of play opportunities and will be sure to capture the senses and create joy for every visitor.

Included with the upgrades at Beach Park Sandringham and Landcox Park Brighton, we will also be installing senior adult exercise equipment to help increase opportunities for older adults to engage in physical and social activity.

Due to the current impacts of Coronavirus, Council will not be hosting information sessions for the public to attend.

You can view the new designs via an interactive map, ask questions and leave feedback via Bayside.vic.gov.au/HaveYourSay

Feedback closes Sunday 2 August
