A free online training session conducted by TAFE NSW designed for representatives from community organisations, including community leaders and local business operators who are interested in improving their knowledge and understanding of issues around Homelessness.
Please be online from 10:20am, ready to commence at 10:30am. This training will provide an overview of the issues facing people who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless.
Participants will gain an understanding of:
What is homelessness? What are the different types of homelessness? What are the causes of homelessness? What are the complex issues homeless people face? How to help people who are Homeless or at Risk of Homelessness – through referrals to specialist support services.Upon completion of this course you will have improved your confidence and knowledge around the issues of Homelessness and better understand possible responses to Homeless individuals.
