Blue Mountains Library launches Creative Corner Online during COVID-19
Blue Mountains 31 Jul 2020

Following the immensely popular Online Storytime and Online Babytime, launched in response to COVID-19 restrictions, Blue Mountains Library is now proud to present Creative Corner Online, a weekly children’s art class.

The class is presented by renowned Blue Mountains artist, Naomi Oliver. Naomi Oliver has delivered art classes and school holiday workshops at Blue Mountains Libraries for almost ten years. She is an award-winning artist who has collaborated with many other artists and exhibited Australia-wide and internationally.

The free art classes – aimed at primary school children aged five to 12 years – will run weekly on Thursday afternoons during Terms 3 and 4 on the Blue Mountains Libraries’ Facebook page.

Mayor Cr Mark Greenhill said, “This is another fabulous initiative launched by Blue Mountains Libraries during this pandemic.

“Creative Corner Online is an invaluable free resource for parents and carers who will welcome another opportunity to connect their kids with quality after-school recreation, when there are still so many activities currently on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions.”

Creative Corner Online is every Thursday during school terms at 3.30pm: The Term 3 schedule is:
