From 1 August 2020, operating hours at Katoomba Waste Management Facility (WMF) will change.

The new operating hours will be: 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm on Saturdays. The new operating hours will enable Council to continue to deliver a self-funding and sustainable Waste Service. 

From 1 August 2020, Council will also collect and remove green waste for recycling, as part of a single Booked Waste Service.  

We’ve made this change to streamline the process and to make the booked service more convenient to residents.   

Bookings for the Chipping service are now closed and you can start booking through the single ‘Booked Waste Service’.
