Delivering economic prosperity, vibrant and welcoming communities and quality infrastructure and services form part of the current Shire of Ashburton Strategic Community Plan 2017 - 2027.
Shire of Ashburton President Kerry White advised the Strategic Community Plan provides a long term plan for the Shire, expressing the vision, aspirations and priorities of our communities.
“The Shire’s strategic community plan is an important founding document, and all other planning and decision making is influenced by this underlying strategy”, said Councillor White.
“As an essential part of this review, all community members are encouraged to have their say and to contribute to the future planning of the Shire of Ashburton.
“Whether you live, work in, invest or visit our Shire, you are invited to give your feedback.
“A series of community information sessions will take place from Monday 10 August at each of our towns.
“By attending one of these sessions you can meet with Shire representatives, ask questions, raise any concerns and contribute to how the Shire plans for the future.
“If you cannot attend in person, you can also complete the online Have Your Say survey at www.ashburton.wa.gov.au or by submitting the printed survey, available from the Shire Administration Offices.
“Survey and feedback must be received by 4pm Friday 28 August 2020”.
