With the introduction of further COVID-19 restrictions on Victorian workplaces, Council will continue to provide a wide range of services for our community.
We will also continue to respond to urgent and community safety issues as well as provide essential services as defined under the Victorian Government restrictions.
Services continuing under Stage 4 restrictionsMany services are already being delivered online, by telephone or via strict COVID-19 health and safety restrictions.
Council staff are continuing to provide customer service, planning, aged and disability services, local laws, family and youth services and more for our community including:
Waste collections including hard waste booked collections In home age and disability services including delivered meals and personal care Immunisations by appointment only Maternal Child Health by appointment only Emergency maintenance of community infrastructure and construction adhering to Victorian Government guidelines Local laws patrols to ensure local safety Environmental health food safety checks of local businesses Essential maintenance of community facilities and open space including parks Sharps collection at the Corporate Centre.Find out more on all Council services during COVID-19 pandemic.
Closed services & facilities Services and facilities closed under Stage 3 restrictions will remain closed. This includes all sport and recreation facilities, libraries, community centres and Men’s Sheds The majority of school crossings will close following consultation with schools and a risk assessment of all crossings Bayside Recycling Centre (waste transfer station) on Wangara Road is closed to the public Bayside Corporate Centre at 76 Royal Avenue is closed for face to face service however a full range of customer service is available via telephone on 9599 4444 or via our Services page Bayside Libraries are currently closed but you can still access a wide variety of online books and e-resources hereWe are here to support members of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
