Maroondah City Council has launched a survey to check-in with our community during COVID-19 and to help plan for our road to recovery.

So that we can understand how the pandemic is affecting you, or your family, we invite residents to complete our short

Maroondah Mayor Councillor Mike Symon said Council is committed to working with the community in planning Maroondah’s response to COVID-19.

“In the months since the coronavirus pandemic emerged, our lives have been disrupted in unimaginable ways. Council acknowledges that the current situation is challenging for each and every one of us and is impacting our community in many different ways,” Cr Symon said.

“Your feedback will help to paint a picture of how we as a community are coping with and adjusting to the pandemic, one of the greatest health, social and economic challenges we’ve ever had to face,” he said.

There will also be an opportunity for residents to indicate whether they would like to participate in community recovery activities, including further consultation or potential involvement in activities that address local needs.

At the end of the survey, residents will also have the option to be contacted by Council to discuss specific questions or any practical, emotional or social support needs they may require.

“By working together, we can identify key priorities and support for our community to help drive and shape our road to recovery,” Cr Symon said.

The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and responses are anonymous. To complete the survey, and for future updates including survey results, visit
