Expressions of Interest now open for local contractor works

Expressions of interest are now open for suitably qualified local Northern Beaches contractors to apply for minor concrete renewal and maintenance works under Northern Beaches Council’s Local Contractor Support Program.

Packages of work up to the value of $50,000 have been set aside for local companies as part of Council’s strategy to boost business for local contractors and stimulate the local economy.

Potential applicants should contact Council via [email protected] and an information and application pack will be provided. Applications should be submitted by 27 August 2020.

Northern Beaches Council in June approved a $500,000 Local Contractor Support Program of minor renewal works to footpaths.

It is proposed the works will be completed over a three-month period from September this year.

This project is on top of a broader $1.2 million support package established at the beginning of the COVID-19 emergency for local business that includes fee waivers and reduced rent.
