Campbelltown families will soon be able to enjoy new play spaces at three locations across the City.

Construction of a new play space at Byrne Reserve, St Andrews and replacement play spaces at Mandurama Reserve, Ambarvale and Ashfield Reserve, Glen Alpine have now started.

The new play spaces include a combination of exciting new play equipment, landscaping works and new seating areas.

“Everyone can remember the joys of visiting their local park as kids and playing on the equipment with friends and siblings,” said Mayor George Brticevic.

“These three parks now have some fantastic new equipment and other features which will be enjoyed by the next generation of families and children,” Cr Brticevic said.

“These latest play space upgrades are an important part of our Play Strategy which is ensuring play spaces across the LGA are being updated with modern and vibrant equipment to entertain our kids, are accessible and importantly, get them outdoors enjoying physical activity,” he said.

Construction on the three play spaces is expected to be complete by September, weather permitting.
