The Rural Financial Counselling Service will be holding a free information session in Condobolin for Lachlan Shire farmers on Wednesday September 2, 2020.
Organised by the Western Plains Regional Development’s Drought Support Officer, the session is a free, confidential service offering individual support to help farmers make the right decisions for their business.
Rural financial counsellors can help farmers understand their financial position and the viability of their enterprise. They can help develop and implement plans to improve the business’s financial situation.
As part of their service, rural financial counsellors can also help:
· Identify financial and business options;
· Negotiate with lenders;
· Identify other assistance schemes; and
· Apply for Farm Household Allowance.
The rural financial counsellor will be available after the information session for one-on-one private consultations.
Covid19 guidelines will apply and there are limited seats available.
If you are interested in attending, please call Lee-Anne Denyer from WPRD to book your seat on 0437 048 129.
