News Proposal to adopt a Regional Price Preference Policy Aug 19 2020 PROPOSAL TO ADOPT A REGIONAL PRICE PREFERENCE POLICY As part of its commitment to supporting the regional economy, the Shire of Ashburton proposes to adopt a policy giving regional price preference for the supply of goods and services. The region to which the price preference policy relates is within the Shire’s boundaries and, to a lesser extent, neighbouring municipalities within the Pilbara (East Pilbara, Port Hedland and Karratha) and Gascoyne (Carnarvon, Exmouth, Shark Bay and Upper Gascoyne) Development Commission boundaries.
