We always knew it, and today online travel operator Tripadvisor officially confirmed it: Manly Beach is one of the world’s top tourist attractions.

Tripadvisor announced today that it had bestowed its ‘Best of the Best’ ranking on Manly Beach, which places it in the top one per cent of listings on Tripadvisor, according to travellers worldwide.

But it wasn’t only Manly Beach that received rave reviews. Shelly Beach and Manly Visitor Information Centre were named Travellers’ Choice 2020 Winners.

This means they are in the top 10% of attractions worldwide.

“The Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best (formerly Travellers’ Choice) is our highest honour,” Tripadvisor said.

“Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best and Travellers’ Choice winners are calculated based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from travellers around the world on Tripadvisor.

“The awards take into account the quality and quantity of traveller reviews, and ratings specific to each award category. The hallmark of winners is and will continue to be remarkable service and quality experiences for travellers."

The Manly Visitor Information Centre provides a comprehensive online and onsite range of information and booking services for Manly and the surrounding area.
