It’s National Science Week! The perfect opportunity for our community to celebrate everything wonderful about science and the impact it has on our local area.
Scientists do everything from fingerprinting forensics, looking for glow worms, and astronomical light shows.
At Council, we have many scientists with various specialisations on staff. They look after and manage a broad range of issues covering aquatic ecology, water quality, biodiversity, sustainability, climate change, the impacts of natural disasters and many more.
Despite their discipline, they are all passionate about what they do - solving problems, caring for the Northern Beaches environment and looking at ways of protecting it for years to come.
But who are they and what do they actually do? Well, we’d like to introduce you to four members of the team who are doing awesome things for the community.
