Eurobodalla Council is calling for expressions of interest from people interested in representing the community on its Coast and Environment Management Advisory Committee.
The committee comprises community representatives and scientists who provide feedback and advice to the Council around coastal, flooding and environmental issues, such as planning strategies for climate change adaptation, floodplains, biodiversity and natural landscapes.
Its members will include two councillors, representatives from the areas of business, tourism, recreation, natural resource management, primary industries and Aboriginal culture, as well as science professionals.
Council is also seeking EOIs from community members to represent each of the five districts throughout Eurobodalla, being: north of the Clyde River, the Batemans Bay CBD to Malua Bay, Rosedale to the Moruya River, South Head to Potato Point and Dalmeny to Akolele.
Applicants will need to submit a case as to why they would make a suitable representative, including reference to interest, experience and/or qualifications in coastal, flood and environmental management.
