The Currunda Creek Reservoir in Redlynch will undergo a $1.1 million refurbishment.
Constructed in 2008 and located on Redlynch Intake Road, Redlynch, the reservoir has an approximate capacity of 8 meglitres and is a significant asset in Council’s water supply network.
A condition assessment of the reservoir identified numerous small leaks and peeling and cracking in the coating system.
Spillers Quality Corrosion Control has been awarded a $851,000 to undertake the required remediation works.
