Liverpool City Council has begun issuing its rates notices to all landowners via post.
The NSW Government has determined that rates be issued and payable one month later than usual this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said she was aware that many residents of the LGA planned their budgets around receiving significant bills at the same time each year.
“We ask that you be patient. Your notification will arrive soon and you have longer to pay,” Mayor Waller said.
The due date for the first instalment is 30 September.
