This year’s Young People of Bayside Art Exhibition features submissions celebrating the theme Wonderful World. Despite the challenges of finding inspiration during the COVID-19 pandemic, young people with a connection to Bayside have presented an encouraging response with works that prove inspiration lives on.
From delicate paintings of wistful holidays- to using recycled material as a stark reminder of our responsibility to the environment, 133 young artists present their fascinating interpretations of how a 'Wonderful World' exists during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
The artists have created an exhibition sharing messages of hope, faith, connection, and appreciation for the world around them. These values have been expressed through paintings, sculptures, portraits, digital artwork, and stunning photography.
Normally we celebrate the event by displaying the submissions in the foyer of our corporate centre. As will most things this year, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re doing things differently.
Bayside Youth Services, with support of the Boombox Events FReeZA Committee, are excited to present this exhibition online and thanks all of those involved including the young artists, parents and teachers for the community support.
