Parents and guardians of children enrolling for places in one of Gannawarra Shire Council’s four kindergartens have one week to submit their paperwork before Round One applications close.
Enrolments that will be considered for Round One of placements must be returned to the Gannawarra Shire Children’s Centre, located at 2 Murray Street, Kerang, by 5pm on Friday, 4 September 2020.
“Council thanks those families who have returned their completed enrolment packs, and encourages those who are yet to do so to complete this prior to the Round One deadline,” Council Chief Executive Officer, Tom O’Reilly said.
“The returning of enrolment packs will help Council plan for our programs in 2021. This includes four-year-old kindergarten education at our facilities located at Cohuna, Kerang, Koondrook and Leitchville, as well as a three-year-old program at Cohuna, Koondrook and Leitchville."
Parents and guardians of children who are turning four years of age before 30 April 2021 are encouraged to contact the Gannawarra Shire Children’s Centre to obtain an enrolment pack if they have not yet done so.
“Families who return completed forms by the Round One closing date are more likely to be allocated the location they wish their child to attend,” Mr O’Reilly said.
“If you have any queries regarding your child’s application, please do not hesitate to contact the Gannawarra Shire Children’s Centre where staff are more than happy to assist.”
