Online tutorials to farewell fast fashion

Learn how to farewell fast fashion forever through a series of online tutorials presented by the Garage Sale Team and supported by The Barossa Council.

Hosted by some of Australia’s brightest, best and most stylish you can learn how to style, mend and shop secondhand to not only minimise your waste but also save money.

“We are excited to be part of the Garage Sale Trail program again this year, and thrilled to be able to offer these tutorials to our community as part of the program to support residents to reuse, recycle and reduce waste at home,” said Mayor Bim Lange.

Learn to declutter your wardrobe sustainably with the first ever Australian trained in the now world famous KonMari method, Sally Flower, on Saturday 3 October.

Receive your fashion first aid training with the nation’s leading clothes-mending practitioner Erin Lewis-Fitzgerald and ‘Stain Slayer’ Christina Reitano on Saturday 24 October.

And master the art of secondhand styling with some of the country’s leaders in sustainable styling and fashion, Hannah Klose and Natalie Shehata on Saturday 7 November.

Trail Tutorials are a new addition to the Garage Sale Trail program – a multi-award-winning community and sustainability campaign taking place in The Barossa Council area and across the country later this year.

Trail Tutorials will be delivered 100% online and are completely free, but places are limited.
