Closure of Fields Road, Hartley Vale

Council wishes to advise residents of the closure of the Fields Road, due to road upgrade and sealing works.

Council staff and contractors have commenced road upgrade and sealing works to Fields Road Hartley Vale. This work is being performed to reduce Council’s maintenance costs, improve motorist safety and ensure Lithgow’s road assets best serve community needs. Residents and motorists should note that the road will be intermittently closed to traffic until further works are completed.

The patience of affected residents and motorists is appreciated and Council advises that changed traffic conditions detours must be observed whilst travelling through the area.

Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.
