My Cairns app cracks 30,000 downloads

The My Cairns app has been downloaded more than 30,000 times, with over 7,350 people having used the app to report a problem to Council.

Problems with roads and drains are the most popular issues reported, followed by concerns about trees and parks.

Council notifications have been enabled on over 22,000 devises, the most popular being for water restrictions (22,276), Council Jobs (17,412), bin night reminders (12,826) and events (12,475).
