Tickets on sale for BizMonth business lunch
BizMonth is an initiative of Bathurst Regional Council which highlights the importance and diversity of local businesses and tickets are now on sale for one of the feature events, the BizMonth business lunch.
Mayor Bobby Bourke said this year, the lunch, to be held on Tuesday 29 September, has been adapted to fit with the current restrictions and the guest speak Gus Balbontin will join the lunch from Melbourne, via video link.
“Gus is a former Executive Director of Lonely Planet and a current board member of Start Up Victoria so he will have some fantastic insights for those attending on how to deal and adjust to rapid change, something we have all had to do this year.”
“Tickets to the lunch, to be held at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre are limited, because of COVID restrictions, so if you’d like to attend, don’t delay in buying a ticket,” Cr Bourke said.

Throughout September, a range of workshops and seminars are also being staged educate businesses in all things digital and to also encourage the community to shop local.
“The format will look a little different this year with a mix of online and in-person events that will have limited numbers and social distancing measures in place,” Cr Bourke said.
BizMonth is a partnership between Bathurst Regional Council, the Western Advocate, Bathurst Business Chamber, Upstairs Startup Hub, Bathurst City Life and 2BS.
