Proposed Traffic Works in Ward Street and Ryde Street, Epping

City of Parramatta is proposing to install traffic facilities in Ward Street and Ryde Street, Epping as listed below: 

1. No Right Turn restriction in Ward Street at Carlingford Road, Epping (Ref. No. TS 2020 66) Click here to view sketch plan

2. One-way (northbound) restriction in Ryde Street between Angus Avenue and Carlingford Road, Epping (Ref. No. TS 2020 67). As part of this work, the existing pedestrian refuge island is to be removed and kerb blisters are to be installed near Angus Avenue and Carlingford Road to reduce pedestrian crossing distance in Ryde Street. Council invites written submissions from residents, businesses and relevant authorities.  Submissions must be provided to Council by Wednesday, 14 October 2020.

The Parramatta Traffic Committee and Council will consider responses to these consultations prior to determining the matters.  All survey respondents will be advised of Council’s decision in January 2021.
