Some Council facilities reopened on Monday 14 September

Greater Dandenong Council made some key changes from Monday 14 September in response to the State Government's first steps following an easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

Reopening from Monday 14 September: All outdoor playgrounds All outdoor exercise equipment in parks Barbeques and rotundas (based on only two people or members of the same household can meet in public for two hours)

Greater Dandenong Libraries - Changes from Tuesday 15 September

Library return chutes will be reopened but library patrons are encouraged to hold on to items for now. All due dates have been extended and the Library Service no longer charges overdue fines. Please do not return items if you have been unwell in the last 14 days or if you have been identified as a close contact with someone currently diagnosed with COVID-19. BookMatch Plus and Family Fun Bundles now available for free delivery for Library members – please speak to Library staff for further information on 1300 630 920 Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (excluding public holidays) or visit Council's website for latest updates. Reopening from Monday 28 September:

All residents are reminded to continue practicing social distancing and good hand hygiene at all times. 

Remaining closed until further notice: Customer Service Centres Heritage Hill Museum and Historic Gardens Walker Street Gallery and Art Centre Drum Theatre  Skateparks Aquatic facilities at Noble Park and Dandenong Oasis
