There’s no excuse for uttering ‘I’m bored’ these school holidays with council offering a bumper school holiday program of more than 35 activities.
The program kicks off across the Central Highlands this Friday 18 September and runs until Sunday 4 October.
There’s something to suit every taste – sporty kids will love the chance to take part in basketball competitions, go skateboarding and play backyard sports while art lovers can try clay modelling, learn how to make wind chimes and participate in a graffiti workshop.
Kids will enjoy the opportunity to take day trips to Rockhampton’s Rocky Bowl and Leisure and to Yeppoon Lagoon while families can enjoy one of the seven movie nights being held across the region. There’s also activities to take part in from home including themed online trivia nights, dance classes and art workshops.
