Council Update

Shire of Capel 21 Sep 2020

In early September, the Shire of Capel Council requested to defer the filling of the vacant councillor position until the October 2021 elections.

The Western Australian Electoral Commissioner approved the request as empowered under the Local Government Act 1995.

Council will operate with eight councillors until October 2021.
