Welcome back to Don Mac

The Donald MacDonald Reserve in Beaumaris will be reopened from 1 October 2020 for informal recreation.

We thank the local community for their patience and understanding during the upgrade works, particularly our four-legged friends who love running free through the reserve’s open space.

The oval was closed for 12 months for essential works to repair drainage issues and upgrade the sportsground with a synthetic cricket wicket and drought-tolerant turf, and a new irrigation system. Following the successful completion of these works, we’re excited to welcome the local community back.

For the enjoyment of all visitors, please actively supervise your dog(s) to prevent digging, pick up after your pooch and follow the current COVID-19 restrictions, which can be viewed here.
