Council’s Customer Service hours still restricted during COVID-19
Blue Mountains 25 Sep 2020

Council would like to remind the community that face-to-face customer service hours at its two Customer Contact Centres remain restricted due to COVID-19.

The current face-to-face opening hours are:

Katoomba Customer Contact Centre: Open Monday-Thursday, 9am-4pm

Springwood Customer Contact Centre: Closed

“We are continually monitoring the COVID-19 situation to ensure the wellbeing of our community and Council staff, while balancing the provision of essential services,” said Chief Executive Officer Dr Rosemary Dillon.

“In line with this, Council’s Katoomba Contact Centre remains open for four days, with slightly reduced hours. We have health and safety measures in place including a concierge, who helps usher visitors into the centre safely.

“Council staff still operate phone services at both locations, but the Springwood Customer Contact Centre remains closed to the public.

“This enables Council to roster customer service staff in a safe and sustainable way, while COVID-19 remains a threat to our community.”

Council encourages the community to use its online services, where possible, during this period.  Go to bmcc.nsw.gov.au/eservices.
