PROGRESS UPDATE | PENGUIN FORESHORE REMEDIATION AND UPGRADE PROJECT

The construction phase of the Penguin Foreshore Remediation and Upgrade Project is currently on schedule and you can see from the drone images the progress on the construction of the new sea wall between the 15 September 2020  and 24 September 2020 along Surf Club Road.

The construction of the rock wall itself begins today and an average of 4 loads per day will be delivered onsite.

Also, as a courtesy reminder, construction works begin on Monday 28 September on Main Road, Penguin. The construction site will extend out to 8 car parking spaces which will be closed off due to the delivery of required equipment. The fence will be moved back, carpark spaces and the footpath will reopen to the public on the afternoon/evening on Friday 2 October.
