Community leaders from across the local government areas of Gannawarra, Buloke, Swan Hill and Mildura are encouraged to apply to join the Mallee Regional Partnership.
Established in 2016, the State Government-established initiative aims to develop strong outcomes for their communities, securing support for important, locally-driven projects across areas like tourism, digital connectivity, mental health, agriculture and much more.
The Mallee Regional Partnership will play an integral role in regional Victoria’s economic and social rebuild from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, identifying ways to create jobs and and strengthen the liveability of country towns.
Experienced and emerging leaders of all ages and backgrounds to apply, including Aboriginal Victorians, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people with a disability and LGBTIQ community members, are encouraged to apply before applications close on 1 October, with the term of appointment for new members to run until 31 December 2024.
