Early bird discount for rates notices

Isaac Regional Council would like to advise residents that rates notices have been issued from Monday, 21 September 2020.

Discount period closes 21 October 2020

Ratepayers who have encountered delays with the postal service in their area can register their email address with Council for an additional rates notice to be issued electronically. If you have recently moved or changed your contact details, please check that you have informed Council to ensure delivery of rates notices on time. Ratepayers who make prompt payment on or before 21 October 2020 will receive a 10 per cent discount on general rates.

Rates and levies for families and other domestic ratepayers in 2020-21 have been frozen at last year’s levels due to the difficult times families and businesses are facing due to the COVID pandemic.

This year Council has granted an interest free holiday on all unpaid rates notices until Monday 31 December 2020 to help support Isaac residents respond to the impacts of COVID-19.

After Monday 31 December 2020, unpaid rates will incur 8.53% per cent interest per annum, compounded daily. If you have not received your rates notice by Friday, 4 October please contact Council.

Ratepayers can register their details for electronic notices by phoning 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227) and speaking to Council’s Rates Team, or emailing [email protected] between 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
