Campbelltown residents can now help decide the name for the new Campbelltown Art Centre gallery shop.
The purpose built shop has been installed at the arts centre to accommodate an expansive product range including a bespoke offering of Macarthur made ceramics, jewellery, woven pieces and unique gifting for any occasion.
The entry to the arts centre foyer has been redesigned to incorporate the new shop, which will be unveiled with its new name at a small launch event on Wednesday 28 October.
Residents can suggest their own name or vote for one of the following options:
Untitled Screams and Dreams Mixed Business Artist Exchange C-A-C Store The Bizarre CACophony Showtime The Social Space“The Campbelltown Arts Centre is an iconic local destination and tourist attraction for our city so I’m really excited that we’re reaching out to our community to help choose a name for the new gallery shop,” Mayor George Brticevic said.
“It will be a great place to pick up a gift for family or friends and will include a number of works from local artists,” Cr Brticevic said.
“We so excited to open the new shop to the community, enhancing the experience of visiting the arts centre. The focus of the new shop is to support local artists showcasing the strength of arts and culture in the Macarthur region,” said Michael Dagostino, Director of Campbelltown Arts Centre.
The competition is open now and will close on Friday, 9 October.
