In recess due to COVID-19 Coronavirus restrictions.

Residents are hereby advised that Council is conducting Tidy Yard Competitions in Grenfell, Quandialla, Caragabal, Greenethorpe and Bimbi.

With the countryside currently at its best it is proposed to endeavor to present our Shire in the best possible light. There is currently an influx of travellers to Regional areas due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Council wants to encourage these travellers to visit and stay in the Weddin Shire.

Council will also be endeavouring to ensure our Parks and Gardens, streets and footpaths are as clean and tidy as possible.

Judging will take place on Monday, 12 October 2020 with $200 prize money available to the winner in Grenfell and each of the villages.

Council has developed three (3) different design proposals for the replacement amenities facilities at Company Dam to be delivered under the Drought Communities Program (DCP) – Extension.

The design proposals are currently on display for comment and can be viewed on Council's Public Exhibition webpage.

Written submissions are invited and will be received by the undersigned up until 4:00pm on Friday, 30 October 2020.
