Blue Mountains City Council is pleased to announce the return of Love Local Live, the online concert series that connects locals with exceptional Blue Mountains musicians.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of our first series, five new sessions will be live streamed from Council’s Facebook page on Thursday nights from 7.30pm – 8.30pm, starting on 15 October 2020.
The series will kick off with local duo Piccolo Bear, with subsequent sessions to feature Blue Sherlock, Witches Leap, Dee (Andie), and Eagle & The Wolf.
As the inaugural NSW City of the Arts, many locals are employed in arts, entertainment and creative jobs. Love Local Live is one small way Council can support our creative communities, many of whom have been hit particularly hard during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Love Local Live is an extension of the Love Local campaign we launched following the bushfires,” Mayor Mark Greenhill said.
“The campaign is all about supporting local businesses and artists through these tough times. With a live streamed concert, we’re able to connect audiences to our artists, while providing creative and safe ways to engage our local artists and businesses. Tune in to our Council Facebook page to support these exceptional local talents,” he said.
