Due to COVID-19, Dilly Doggy Day Out is not able to go ahead as it has in previous years; but instead we are excited to bring you Dilly Doggy Day In!

Dilly Doggy Day In will be held from 18 October through until the originally scheduled date of Saturday 24 October.

Throughout the week Council will be providing hints and tips for pet owners, information about local pet products and services, demonstrations and competitions - all online.

Wollondilly Mayor Robert Khan said, “This is always a very popular event with pet owners, I am so pleased that we can still hold this popular event even if it is a little different this year.”

“Make sure you follow Council’s Facebook page to see all of the exciting online activities that we will be doing.”

Council’s special guest, Dr Katrina Warren, a vet and TV personality best known for her work on Harry’s Practice, will be joining us online throughout the week.

Katrina has travelled around Australia with the fantastic Wonderdogs, a team of border collies, providing entertainment and education for the public.

For this year’s Dilly Doggy Day In, Katrina will be joined by her Wonderdogs to perform demonstrations, give information about managing puppies and teaching viewers fun tricks for your pet.

There will still be competitions where entries can be submitted online through Council’s website. Follow Council’s Facebook page for the competition categories. Council staff will be providing information on free microchipping for Wollondilly dog and cat owners.

Opportunities will be available for previous stallholders to submit their business details for inclusion on Council’s website.
