As of the date of signing, the Chief Executive Officer has certified that this material is not considered to be electoral material in accordance with Council’s Governance Rules made under the Local Government Act 2020, Civic Place, Warragul.
A number of Council services are now open to the community with safety precautions and protocols in line with government requirements.
Drouin Customer Service Centre
Council’s Drouin Customer Service centre will reopen to the public from Monday 19 October. For the safety and wellbeing of visitors and staff, hand sanitising stations, social distancing floor markers and safety screens are in place at the front counters. All visitors and staff are required to wear an appropriate face mask at all times.
Residents can also get in touch via phone, email, Live Chat and other online channels.
Libraries
Click and collect services are available at all libraries in Baw Baw Shire, including the Northern Mobile Library. Immunisations
Immunisation sessions are operating at the following locations:
Warragul: Warragul Early Learning Centre, 48-62 Bowen Street, Warragul Trafalgar: Community Service Centre (Senior Citizen Hall), Princes HighwayIn order to adhere to physical distancing requirements, there may be a limit placed on the number of visitors at each location. As a result, you may be asked to wait in your car until your appointment. For information about upcoming session times go to Immunisation Schedule 2020.
Animal adoptions
Baw Baw Shire residents can access animal adoption viewing sessions, by appointment only. COVID-19 hygiene practices, including the wearing of face masks and social distancing must be adhered to at all times during appointments.
Warragul Leisure Centre
The Warragul Leisure Centre outdoor pool is now open for lap swimming. Bookings are required via www.warragul.ymca.org.au
