A broad and deepening low pressure trough over the western interior and South Australia is generating storms.
Another trough over eastern inland is triggering a few showers and storms across southeast interior of Queensland and northeast NSW.
A weak front is causing rain to develop in Tasmania and Victoria.
The trough will deepen and slowly move west today. Severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and heavy rainfall are possible across the southern interior of Queensland, most likely the area between Windorah, Boulia, and Winton.
