A Change Of Scenery For 2020 Book Week Storytime In The Park

On Friday next week, Big Sky Libraries is inviting children and their families to Storytime in Apex Park to celebrate Book Week 2020!

Children are encouraged to dress-up as their favourite character from a book fitting with this year’s theme, ‘curious creatures, wild minds’.

Big Sky Libraries Manager, Sally Walters has articulated the library’s excitement for this year’s Book Week.

“We usually hold a Storytime session at the library and invite children and their families to join us, this year we have decided to take the opportunity to have Storytime outside at Apex Park in Moree!

“To celebrate this year’s theme of ‘curious creatures, wild minds’, we are also encouraging children to come dressed as their favourite character from a book fitting with the theme. As spots are limited, we are asking parents to contact the Moree branch to book-in for the session.

The Storytime in the Park session will be replacing the regular in-house session next week and be held on:

Moree Friday 23 October 2020 at 10:30 am Apex Park, Corner of Gwydir and Edward Streets, Moree.

So we can be prepared and make this a COVID-Safe event, be sure to confirm your attendance by calling us on (02) 6757 3374.
