Isaac Regional Council advises motorists of upgrade works to Moranbah Access Road, funded under the Federal Government’s Blackspot Funding Program. The works are due to occur:
From 19 October 2020 to Mid-January 2021 Monday to Friday 6am – 6pm Saturday 6am – 2pm Completion dates will be provided closer to January
Motorists are advised to expect delays of up to 15 minutes through the duration of works and are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly. Works are to be staged and under single lane closures with lane closure only allowed between 7am and 4pm.
The works are to improve the safety quality of a main traffic corridor in Moranbah. The works include road widening and flattening of batters to achieve a consistent road environment and to allow safe traffic movement in and out of Moranbah.
Council advises motorists and pedestrians to maintain caution on the road during the works and follow any traffic control and directional signage at the site.
Council apologises for any inconvenience or disruption these works may cause.
