Council wishes to advise that the damaged pipeline on the Fish River Water Supply has been repaired. WaterNSW are in the process of re-filling the pipeline prior to returning to normal operations.
WaterNSW have advised Council that they are currently on track to be fully restored by this afternoon, Monday 19 October. Residents may experience discoloured or chlorine-smelling water for a period.
Before using water for domestic purposes, it is advised to run the first tap that services the property to ensure the water is clean, free from heavy odour, and any dirt released into the system has been flushed before running internal taps. If you continue to experience issues of dirty water, please contact Council or WaterNSW.
