Proposed Road Pavement Rectification Works - Miller and Blue Streets

Miller and Blue Streets are important regional roads which connect North Sydney to the City attracting tens of thousands of vehicles each day. The proposed works are necessary because various areas within the pavement have subsided. This session will detail the works required and the two options provided for each stage.

Tree Regulations and Canopy Management

Learn about the key objectives and canopy targets of Council’s Urban Forest Strategy and recent amendments to the Development Control Plan (DCP). The DCP amendments include changes to tree protection dimension thresholds. These changes bring North Sydney Council’s policy into line with surrounding local government areas and industry best practice, however the changes will impact how residents, arborists, contractors and developers manage trees on private land in North Sydney.
