Due to the wet weather forecast over the coming days, the Community Paint Day for the Blue Tree Project scheduled for this Saturday 24 October has been postponed.
A new date will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Community Paint Day, organised by Moree Plains Shire Council and supported by Moree Mitre 10 and Wattyl Paints, was designed to bring the Moree Plains Shire community together to paint Moree’s Blue Tree and raise awareness and start meaningful conversations about mental health.
The Community Paint Day, now postponed to a later date, will be used as a tool to provide information on where people can receive support and how to support a person struggling with a mental illness.
