Please be advised that Buttons Beach is closed until further notice due to potential bacterial risk. The closure was a preventative action as the Council was alerted to an unidentified sludge like slick in the vicinity of the location indicated in the picture below. The Council has undertaken sampling and once the result are known appropriate actions will be taken.

The Council apologises for any inconvenience.
