The indoor pools at the Warragul Leisure Centre will reopen tomorrow, a week ahead of the planned opening date, following the easing of COVID restrictions for Regional Victoria.
Both the indoor and outdoor pools will operate on a reduced schedule for the next week, before returning to normal opening hours from Wednesday 4 November.
From tomorrow, the 25-metre indoor pool, indoor program, splash park and group fitness classes (in and out of the water) will resume.
The centre will open on weekdays from 6.00am to 10.00am and 4.00pm to 7.00pm and Saturdays from 9.00am to 7.30pm.
The warm water pool will also be available to all visitors on weekdays from 8.30am to 7.30pm and Saturdays from 9.30am – 11.30am.
Normal opening hours will commence from Wednesday 4 November, opening on weekdays from 6.00am to 8.00pm and weekends from 8.00am to 6.00pm.
A range of safety measures will be in place for all visitors, including temperature checks, bookings and social distancing measures.
Up to 20 patrons can be in the indoor pools and 15 in the warm water pool at any time, with spectators and carers required to maintain social distancing and wear masks at all times.
Casual one-hour sessions are $7.40 for adults and $5.90 for child/concession, with 10 visit passes and memberships available.
Council will continue to monitor the situation with regards to current restrictions and will keep the community updated.
